Support

I am unable to access the website.

For the students to be able to access and play, Chatterbox requires access to the following web address: chatterbox.eurotalk.com. Please could you therefore ask your network admin or whoever controls access to websites to place this on their website whitelist.

I have another issue - how can I get in touch?

If you are having any difficulties, please email us at chatterbox@eurotalk.com or give us a call on 0207 371 7711. We're in the office Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm and will do our best to help you as soon as we can.

FAQs

What browsers does Chatterbox run on?

Chatterbox requires support for HTML5 “Canvas”, which means an up-to-date version of your browser. It has been tested on the latest versions of Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and others on both PC and Mac. However not all facilities are available on all browsers – e.g. IE and Safari do not support user recording at present. For optimum performance, we recommend Google Chrome.

My school’s IT policy requires me to use an older version of a browser. Can I still run your product?

Unfortunately not, we’re really sorry. Chatterbox requires an up-to-date version of your browser (see above).

What are the hardware requirements?

If the hardware is capable of running the latest browsers, it should be capable of running Chatterbox. A reasonably fast internet connection is recommended.

Can we run this product on our own LMS?

Chatterbox runs under a version of the “EuroTalk Portal” that has been especially customised for schools. All the facilities of the product including user-defined packs require this. But please contact us if you’d like to discuss a SCORM version.

Can we run this product on our own server?

If you want to run a version of our Portal on your own server we are very willing to discuss this. Please contact us!

Does it run on tablets and mobile devices?

Chatterbox will work on such devices, though it has not yet been optimised for them. Recording may or may not work at the moment, depending on the device. Please contact us if you’re unsure.

Do I require an internet connection to run this product?

Yes. At the moment this product requires connection to the internet. But we are looking at ways of providing a version that does not require a connection, and if there is sufficient demand we hope to make this available in the future.

What foreign languages do you offer?

We offer over 120 different languages, including French, German, Spanish, Italian, Latin and Chinese, and we plan to add more in the future! See chatterbox.eurotalk.com/info/faq.html for the full list.

Are you adding any additional card packs?

Yes! We will be regularly uploading new content for the core curriculum subjects.

Can I make my own card packs?

This is now available. Login as a teacher and select "Pack Builder" to try it.
